This is a new part of our newsletter that we send out every month. It is intended to be a means to stay in touch with you, our loyal customers, and let you know what’s going on at the dealership. The All New 2014 Chevy Silverado!

 

 

 

 

They’re here! The all new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado is one fine piece of work. GM’s engineers have outdone themselves again. One look and you can see the subtle but effective exterior design changes. From the powerful hood to the flared wheel wells to the rear step bumper and the EZ Lift and Lower Tailgate, the changes have been crafted to make the Silverado stand out from the crowd and be functional as well. Just look at the pictures to see some of the finer details.

 

 As far as power is concerned, there are a range of options for every need: the powerful 6.2L - V8; the 5.3L – V8; and the high torque 4.3L – V6. These powerful engines all utilize the new generation, all aluminum, EcoTec3 design which optimizes efficiency and power based on how you drive. So whether you’re towing uphill, or cruising on the highway, there’s a choice to meet all of your needs.

 

 

 

Speaking of which, the console includes 2 DC power ports; an AC outlet to power devices and charge others, as well a 3 USB ports! And then there’s the new MyLink infotainment system. It has an impressive 8.5 inch touch screen to control the audio functions, Bluetooth streaming, Navigation, XM Radio and more. This is a very intuitive system to use, and certainly a valuable option for today’s connected customer.

The all new 2014 Chevrolet Impala is here and it’s, quite simply, awe inspiring!! One look, one ride, and you’ll be hooked. Let’s start with the styling – the 10^th generation of the Impala is a total reinvention of this iconic vehicle. It has a bold yet refined look that’s sure to turn heads wherever you travel. The new “power dome” hood conveys this look of power and performance. Its sleek lines talk of elegance and style.

 

 

 A critical part of the exterior design is not simply the appearance, but the aerodynamics of the design which enhance performance. This new Impala achieves a 12% lower coefficient of drag, and is the same as the Malibu Eco! This directly contributes to the quietness of the cabin and higher fuel economy!

 

The interior of the vehicle continues to speak of refinement, comfort, and elegance. The 2014 has about one cubic feet more interior space, with 3.5 inches additional front leg room and 2 inches more rear leg room. The trunk has 18.8 cubic feet of storage space – simply cavernous! The interior is made with premium soft touch materials throughout. Further enhancing the interior is the use of sound absorbing and sound suppressing materials to make it the quietest of Chevrolets full sized sedans ever.

The technology is a story all by itself. The new MyLink radio features an 8” color touch-screen that lets you control it much like an iPad. All new six levels of connectivity – include Bluetooth, USB ports, SD card reader, auxiliary input jack (iPods and MP3 players), auxiliary power outlet, and auxiliary 120V power outlet!
