Oh, those lazy, hazy days of summer!! Which also means -
Baseball!! Who doesn't like going to the ballpark, having a hot dog, and
watching a great game. Or better yet, participating in a game. Edenton Motors
proudly sponsors events for local youth leagues. One such event, in conjunction
with Chevrolet, is a youth Instructional Baseball Clinic with the Norfolk Tides
baseball team! This is an opportunity for local youth to receive instruction
and coaching from professional players in a professional stadium - what a great
experience for an aspiring ball player.
Edenton is proud to be the home of the Edenton Steamers of
the Coastal Plain League, and we are thrilled to be a sponsor of this top rated
team. It's wonderful to be able to spend a summer evening watching our team
compete against some very competitive opponents right in our own backyard. Our
community is very fortunate to have such a great venue.
We also support our local parks and recreation department
with equipment and resources for our youth to participate in America's favorite
pastime at home. These are both efforts that are undertaken because we believe in being involved in our
communities, and that participation in a variety of activities can be helpful to the development of important values
such as team work and sportsmanship. So, enjoy the summer, and go see a ball
