Holiday Traditions

 

 

          A big part of the Christmas season, for me, is the various traditions that have become a part of enjoying, and sharing this special time of year. Everyone and every organization has their own unique and distinct ways of celebrating the various holiday’s that they commemorate.

 

            Here at Edenton Motors one of our traditions is to put up and decorate our Angel Tree. Along with all the lights, bulbs, and decorations, our tree is also adorned with tags that have a child’s name and some of the wishes that they have for Christmas presents under their Christmas tree. Partnering with the Salvation Army; our employees, customers, and members of the community help to provide some less fortunate child a joyful Christmas morning by picking one of these tags and fulfilling some of those wishes.

             For me, the Christmas Holiday is primarily about giving, and seeing the look of surprise and enjoyment on the faces of those whom I have the good fortune to be able to give something to. Given the support of everyone that has participated in this event in the past, I assume that they enjoy a similar pleasure in helping with this effort.

 

            It is our hope that everyone enjoys their particular traditions this Holiday season, and we invite you to perhaps add this one to your list of favorites this year – I think it could become one of your favored traditions year after year. Merry Christmas!
